This adaptation is a a macabre burlesque of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein as if it had happened in a world of clowns. Victor and the other characters are shown in all their glorious hypocrisy and unfiltered reactions. The story takes on the moral tale inherent in the original by exaggerating the essential humanity in the characters and in their relationships to one another.
